In the future saving energy will most likely be the only possibility to keep current energy costs at a low. In comparison to conventional lighting, LED lighting can save upt to 70% of energy costs. One of the largest advantages is that there is no need to replace your sockets, even the starter and flourescent lamp ballast can be switched off as they are no longer necessary after re- equipment. Switching on the LED is the same as a flourescent 230V tube. The life span of a LED amounts to more than 30.000 hours, this translates to a continuous operation of over three years. If one considers the high life span of a LED, the purchasing costs already amortize after a short time.
To re-equip to Dunalight the following points must be considered:
- Since the tube unites the complete technology in itself, the starter as well as the conventional flourescent lamp ballast are no longer necessary. That means that before use of the LED, the
conventional flourescent lamp ballast must be clamped and the starter removed. There is also the possibility that the conventional flourescent lamp ballast can be inclosed, however you will
have an increased consumption of energy.
Our tipp: switch the conventional flourescent lamp ballast off in order to present higher energy costs.
- If you are already equiped with an EVG (electronic flourescent lamp ballast), it must be bridged or completely removed before using the LED.
